<p>The Filmmaking Workshop will be intensive, instructional, and practical, engaging participants to think, develop, and create their own stories/concepts for films. The course is designed to introduce the major aspects of filmmaking.</p>

<p>The program aims to introduce filmmaking concepts and lets students have an opportunity to produce their own short film under the guidance of professionals. The workshop will end with a reflection on their learning process after the final screening of their productions.</p>

<p><strong>Session 1:</strong> Introduction on the purpose of the workshop – the need for good films today.</p>

<p><strong>Session 2:</strong> Introduction to Cinema or What is Cinema?</p>

<p><strong>Session 3: </strong>Introduction to Filmmaking/Film Production Process, including Pre-production, Production, and Post-production.</p>

<p><strong>Session 4:</strong> Understanding the Digital Camera and its features, the Exposure Triangle – Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO, and how to set the right exposure for a shot.</p>

<p><strong>Session 5:</strong> Framing and Composition, Rule of Thirds, Creating depth in composition, and how to frame a shot with meaning.</p>

<p><strong>Session 6:</strong> How to develop an idea? Plot, Conflict, and Resolution.</p>

<p><strong>Session 8:</strong> Three basic rules every filmmaker should know/follow. Understanding film continuity.</p>
