Martin Lang, Ph.D

Martin line conducts research and teachers courses on the media, exploring the ways, news, film, TV, and social media shape, individual and collective identity. His analysis examine the ways, constructed meanings of race, class, gender, and other identity markers shape dynamics of social operation and empowerment. He became a proud Visthar alumnus after serving as faculty leader for the Social Justice, Peace and Development semester-long program in 2013, an opportunity he considers a highlight of his career.
