✔️ Improve drawing and composition skills through various exercises and approaches
✔️ Emphasize understanding the structural possibilities of a 2-D surface and its relation to form and content
✔️ Include studies of everyday objects, nature, figures, and animals, and compositional analysis of paintings

✔️ Recommended portrait studies, anatomical head studies, and full figure studies to further develop skills

◉ Course Description
✔️ Painting is the expression of creativity on a two-dimensional surface, such as a picture or design executed in paint.
✔️ The course focuses on the essential elements of composition, such as building up the grammar to be used in the art process.
✔️ The course is divided into two parts: Head Study and Full Figure Study.
✔️ Head Study involves the partial study of the face using real or plaster models and the perspective study of the head from a 360-degree angle and the parts of the face.
✔️ Full Figure Study is the partial study of the body and 360-degree angle perspective study of the model posing in different postures.
✔️ Both drawing and painting mediums are used in this course, such as pencil, charcoal, pastels, and watercolors.
✔️ Emphasis is given to the process of drawing, studying, and experimenting with the medium.

The first semester of this program provides a foundation in visual art with language courses, core theory, observational drawing, basic design, art history, digital fluency, and value-based courses such as Yoga and Health and Wellness.

At Visthar academy of culture and contemporary studies (VACCS), we understand the concern of a parent/guardians about how choosing a visual arts degree would shape the career of their children. Admission Process
Submission of application online through the website or direct submission. Selected applicants will be called in for an entrance test based on which the jury will assess the applicants skill and interest in the subject, followed by personal interview.
